- DC/DC Step-Up and Step-Down Regulators from MPS including the brand new MP28127 Synchronous Step-Down Switching Regulator, a 1.25A, 5.5V internally regulated 1.5MHz fixed frequency PWM synchronous step-down regulator with a wide 2.7V to 5.5V input and output as low as .8V. The MP28127 integrates a high side switch and a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency without an external Schottky diode. With peak current mode control and internal compensation, the MP28127 based solution delivers a very compact footprint with a minimum component count. The MP28127 is available in a small 3mm x 3mm 10-lead QFN package.

Featured Associate — Keith Peterson
Keith graduated from South Dakota State University in 1996 with an electronic engineering degree and spent the next eight years working as a hardware engineer at Daktronics. He decided the big city was for him, and moved to the Twin Cities to work as a key account sales person at Avnet Electronics. In 2006, Keith joined the Mel Foster team as a field sales engineer.
Keith has enjoyed participating in marathons, since the days of running at South Dakota State.
He is a fan of gadgets and is always interested in hearing about new technologies. He looks forward to the days he can take his wife and son to Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves, and Twins games.
